The EURO Working Group on Decision Support Systems (EWG-DSS) jointly with the DASIG Decision Analysis Special Interest Group from the British OR Society and CNRS-LAMSADE invites you to participate on the “EWG-DSS / DASIG Paris-2011 Joint-Workshop”, which will take place in Paris Dauphine University in France, in the period of November 30th to December 1st, 2011.
The main purpose of this Joint-Workshop is to provide an informal setting in which the participants, from both EWG-DSS and DASIG groups, can have the opportunity to meet and discuss technical, methodological and social aspects involved in the development of Decision Systems. The Workshop comprises two Streams. The “Stream on Collaborative Decision Making on the 30th of November, 2011” organized by the EWG-DSS and the “Stream on Policy Analytics on the 1st of December, 2011” organized by the DASIG Decision Analysis Special Interest Group.
Participants of each Workshop Stream are invited and expected to attend the full Workshop on both days.
For the EWG-DSS Stream on Collaborative Decision Making, members of the EWG-DSS working group are expected to participate and to encourage the participation of other related professionals, so that further collaboration can be promoted on a larger scale.
Call for Papers (see EWG-DSS Stream CfP)
The EWG-DSS Stream of this Joint-Workshop accepts submission of papers, addressing topics in research and application of Collaborative Decision Making in the form of:
- Abstracts;
- Short/Extended Abstracts; or
- Full Papers.
Submissions may include, among others, the following topics:
- Group Support Systems / Distributed / Collaborative Decision Making
- Methods, Languages and Tools to support Decision Making
- Web 2.0 Systems for Decision Support & Globalisation Context
- Spatial-temporal Decision Support Systems
- Knowledge Management & Decision Support Systems
- Knowledge and Resource Discovery & Decision making
- Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing
- Negotiation Support Systems
Proposals for panel or demo presentations in special sessions are very welcome.
Contributions: Authors are requested to submit either Abstracts (1 page), Short Papers (4/6 A4 pages) or Full Papers (~ 12 A4 pages) in electronic form (MS-Word and PDF) to the email: ewg-dss@fccdp.com up to 30/10/2011 (extended deadline!) using the Templates given below for download (Word “doc” format).
